ACE-203 – Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-4, Stab/JG 53 “Pik As”, Meyerweissflog, France 1940

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the Luftwaffe’s principal single-seat fighter during the opening campaigns of the Second World War. Fast, heavily armed and continually developed, it became one of the most recognisable combat aircraft of the conflict.

ACE-203 depicts a Bf 109 E-4 of Stab/JG 53, the famous “Pik As” or Ace of Spades fighter wing, associated with Meyerweissflog during operations over France in 1940.

The E-series was at the forefront of Luftwaffe fighter operations during the campaigns in Western Europe and the subsequent air fighting against Britain.

The Military Workshop is pleased to offer ACE-203 – an impressive John Jenkins aircraft for collectors recreating the Luftwaffe during the pivotal air campaigns of 1940.
