ACE-22P – Capitaine Georges Guynemer
Few French aviators achieved the fame of Capitaine Georges Guynemer. Serving with the celebrated Escadrille SPA 3, “Les Cigognes” – The Storks, Guynemer became one of France’s greatest fighter aces and a national symbol during the First World War.
Credited with 53 confirmed aerial victories, he flew several different fighter types during his career and became especially associated with the SPAD. Guynemer disappeared in action over Belgium on 11 September 1917, aged just 22.
ACE-22P – Capitaine Georges Guynemer provides the personality figure to accompany his famous aircraft and allows collectors to recreate an airfield scene centred around one of the most celebrated pilots of the Great War.
The Military Workshop is proud to offer ACE-22P – a superb John Jenkins personality figure honouring Georges Guynemer and his extraordinary place in the history of French military aviation.
