ACWART-02 – American Civil War Artillery Limber
The artillery limber was an essential piece of equipment for a Civil War field battery. Designed to be drawn by horses, it allowed artillery pieces to be transported while also carrying ammunition required once the gun entered action.
ACWART-02 – American Civil War Artillery Limber provides collectors with an important element that is often overlooked when recreating an artillery position.
Combined with guns, horse teams and artillery crews, the limber can be used to show a battery arriving on the battlefield, moving to a new position or preparing to unlimber and begin firing.
Available from The Military Workshop – a highly useful John Jenkins accessory for adding greater historical detail to an American Civil War artillery display.
