For a Gallic warrior, the shield was an essential piece of battlefield equipment, providing protection while still allowing the mobility required during an aggressive attack.

AER-10B – Gaul Warrior Charging captures a Celtic fighter pressing forward towards his opponent. His pose is designed to convey momentum, making him particularly effective when positioned among several warriors attacking simultaneously.

Mixing the various AER charging poses creates the impression of a much larger tribal force sweeping forward rather than a line of identical soldiers.
