CTSK-06 – Balearic Slingers

A sling may appear simple, but in experienced hands it was a dangerous battlefield weapon. Slingers could launch stones or specially prepared projectiles from considerable distance, making them effective at disrupting enemy formations before close combat began.

CTSK-06 – Balearic Slingers adds further poses to these celebrated light troops in Carthaginian service.

Place them forward of the main army, where their dispersed formation can contrast beautifully with the dense ranks of infantry behind them. They also work particularly well against Roman troops advancing beneath their shields.
