The Tiger II, commonly known as the King Tiger, combined massive armour protection with the powerful long-barrelled 8.8cm KwK 43 gun.

GA-54 – King Tiger #123 represents an early Tiger II fitted with the turret design commonly referred to by collectors as the “Porsche turret.” Despite the familiar nickname, the turret itself was manufactured by Krupp; the designation is generally used to distinguish this curved-front early turret from the later production version.

The vehicle's enormous dimensions make it a natural focal point for a late-war German armoured display.
