GG57-04 – 57th (West Middlesex) Regiment – 2 Pieces

The relief of the besieged British garrison at Eshowe required a substantial column to advance through territory in which a major Zulu attack was expected.

Among the infantry accompanying Lord Chelmsford's Eshowe Relief Column were men of the 57th (West Middlesex) Regiment.

GG57-04 provides two soldiers of the 57th, ideal for extending the British formation beyond its officers and personalities.

The pair can be placed within the defensive square, along improvised entrenchments or alongside other regiments of the relief force.
