GG60-07 – 60th King's Royal Rifles
The Battle of Gingindlovu was fought on 2 April 1879 as Lord Chelmsford's relief force advanced towards Eshowe.
The British had established a fortified position, and when a large Zulu force attacked, the defenders relied upon disciplined rifle fire and supporting weapons to hold the perimeter.
GG60-07 – 60th King's Royal Rifles represents troops from the 3rd Battalion during this stage of the campaign.
The figures can be positioned along the defensive line with other KRRC releases to recreate the riflemen facing the Zulu assault.
Available through The Military Workshop – a detailed John Jenkins Designs 60th King's Royal Rifles set tied directly to the fighting around the Eshowe Relief Column.
