A Zulu impi was not simply a mass of individual warriors. Leadership, regimental organisation and discipline were fundamental to the effectiveness of the Zulu military system.

GGZ-01 portrays an Induna of the uThulwana Regiment, providing a commanding figure for one of the veteran regiments associated with the Anglo-Zulu War.

Placed slightly ahead of or among the warriors, the Induna gives the formation an identifiable leader and immediately adds hierarchy to a larger Zulu force.

He is particularly effective when surrounded by the numerous uThulwana warrior poses available within the GGZ series.
