INCA-18BN – Three Inca Slingers
INCA-18BN provides three Inca Slingers, making it easy to expand the missile component of an existing Inca force.
The armies of Tawantinsuyu employed a broad mixture of weapons, and slingers offered an important means of attacking before opposing forces reached close-combat distance.
A three-figure group can be displayed as a small independent detachment or combined with INCA-18AN to produce six slingers immediately. Add the INCA-19 variants and the resulting formation becomes a substantial battlefield element in its own right.
Slingers also introduce a different visual rhythm to an army. Their extended actions contrast strongly with spear- and polearm-equipped troops and help create the impression that several stages of battle are occurring simultaneously.
