JR-37B – Jacobite Piper

JR-37B offers a second Jacobite Piper variation, allowing collectors to incorporate this important Highland military tradition without relying upon a single repeated figure.

The bagpipe's association with Scottish military culture predates the 1745 Rising and continued long after Culloden. Pipers became particularly strongly associated with Highland regiments in British service during the generations that followed.

Within a Jacobite scene, JR-37B works beautifully beside standards, officers and clan personalities. Pairing him with JR-37A can also create a stronger musical element within a substantial formation.

The piper does not need to dominate the scene. Positioned just behind the leading warriors, he can provide an atmospheric link between the command group and the men moving forward.
