CS00367 - 146th New York Firing | The Collectors Showcase
In the Union armies of the American Civil War, the success of an infantry regiment depended upon the combined efforts of its soldiers and commanders. The 146th New York figures offer a way to recreate these contrasting moments, from an advance under pressure to the cost of fighting.
The CS00367 - 146th New York Firing figure captures a particular moment from this wider setting. The firing subject places the emphasis on a soldier actively engaged in the line. Its action-oriented pose makes it suitable for an infantry exchange or as part of a larger coordinated formation.
This is listed as a three-figure set, providing a ready-made group for an active firing line. Presented with complementary firing, command and casualty subjects, the regiment can be shown as a continuous battlefield narrative rather than a series of unrelated figures.
As part of a 54mm American Civil War display, it sits naturally alongside the other 146th New York figures, helping build a unified scene of Union infantry in action.
