CS00490 - 5th New York Charging | The Collectors Showcase

The 5th New York is represented through a series of Union infantry subjects capturing the changing pace of the American Civil War battlefield. A charge, a firing line, the act of reloading and the presence of wounded men each tell a different part of the same story.

The CS00490 - 5th New York Charging figure captures a particular moment from this wider setting. The charging pose captures forward momentum and the urgency of soldiers moving into action. It is a natural choice for the leading edge of an infantry scene, especially alongside firing and command figures from the same series.

Its effect is particularly strong when contrasted with the different postures and actions of the other 5th New York soldiers.

Designed to complement the other 5th New York figures, this 54mm Civil War piece adds variety and a distinctive moment to a larger Union regimental diorama.
