CS00755 - 11th Virginia Regiment Broken | The Collectors Showcase

The American Civil War placed Confederate infantry regiments under immense pressure, as formations struggled to hold their ground, deliver effective fire and maintain cohesion amid the confusion of battle. The 11th Virginia appears in this collection through individual figures representing different moments in a soldier's experience.

The unusual 'Regiment Broken' title introduces a very different moment from the familiar charging or firing poses. Rather than a formation advancing confidently, it evokes the disruption and human strain that could follow sustained fighting. In a diorama it can mark the point where an orderly line gives way to confusion, creating narrative tension alongside other 11th Virginia figures.

Part of the 54mm American Civil War Confederate range, this figure can be combined with the other 11th Virginia releases to create a more complete regimental scene. It is especially effective when placed among figures showing both the strength and the vulnerability of an infantry line.
