CS00828 - REB Advancing | The Collectors Showcase

The Confederate infantryman is one of the defining figures of the American Civil War. Advancing and withdrawing under fire, maintaining formation and responding to an officer's orders demanded coordination even when the noise and confusion of battle made every movement difficult.

An advancing infantryman gives a battle scene direction and momentum. The REB Advancing pose represents the decision to leave a position and move forward toward the enemy, a change that could expose troops to new dangers. It is particularly effective when grouped with an officer and standard-bearer, suggesting that the formation is moving as a unit rather than as isolated individuals.

This 54mm Confederate miniature is suited to a display of troops in the midst of battle. Combine it with the other REB officers, standard-bearers and fighting poses to build a varied formation with convincing movement across the ground.
