CS00852 - 2nd Wisconsin Shot | The Collectors Showcase
On a Civil War battlefield, regimental identity was maintained through officers, colours and the actions of individual soldiers. The 2nd Wisconsin series provides these complementary elements for a dynamic Union infantry scene.
The CS00852 - 2nd Wisconsin Shot figure captures a particular moment from this wider setting. The shot figure introduces a casualty moment into the 2nd Wisconsin grouping. It provides a dramatic contrast to the unit's officers, advancing men and active firing poses.
When combined with the other 2nd Wisconsin figures, the scene can move from leadership and an advance to the realities of battle.
It makes a valuable addition to the 54mm 2nd Wisconsin grouping, complementing its officers, colour bearer and fellow infantry figures.
