CS00862 - Wheats Tiger Regiment Flagbearer | The Collectors Showcase

Rather than showing an entire regiment in one rigid formation, the Wheat's Tigers figures capture separate episodes within an unfolding Civil War battle. Their command, fighting and support poses can be combined to create a much fuller scene than a single soldier could provide.

The flagbearer gives the Wheat's Tigers a striking centrepiece and a point of identity among the surrounding soldiers. A standard held within an infantry formation offered a clear rallying image, particularly where smoke and confusion made orientation difficult. This figure is ideally placed close to the commander, with firing and charging soldiers arranged around the colours to suggest a force engaged in an intense action.

This 54mm figure works particularly well alongside the other Wheat's Tigers releases, allowing collectors to portray a unit with command figures, firing positions, advancing men and battlefield support all represented together.
