CS00867 - Wheats Tiger Regiment Parrying | The Collectors Showcase

The action-packed Wheat's Tigers range evokes the shifting rhythm of a Confederate infantry engagement. A battle line needed leadership, reliable ammunition, clear signals and men ready to fight at close range; the different poses in this series bring those interconnected roles together.

The parrying infantryman captures the sudden urgency of defending against an opponent at close quarters. Unlike the firing and reloading figures, this pose belongs to the moment when the space between opposing soldiers has almost disappeared. It provides a compelling counterpoint to the knife-wielding charger, giving collectors the opportunity to create a tightly focused scene of personal combat.

This 54mm figure works particularly well alongside the other Wheat's Tigers releases, allowing collectors to portray a unit with command figures, firing positions, advancing men and battlefield support all represented together.
