CS00906 - Union Standing Firing | The Collectors Showcase

The American Civil War saw troops adapt to the demands of the ground and the weapons available to them. These Union dismounted subjects portray a mixture of leadership, weapons handling and infantry action.

The CS00906 - Union Standing Firing figure captures a particular moment from this wider setting. The standing firing pose creates the upper line of a dismounted Union group. Paired with a kneeling shooter and a reloading figure, it gives the scene a strong sense of varied activity.

Its pose works alongside the contrasting standing and kneeling figures, giving the group a more natural composition.

Combined with the other 54mm Union dismounted figures, it helps create a varied infantry arrangement with a strong sense of purpose and realism.
