CS00909 - Union Flagbearer | The Collectors Showcase

The American Civil War saw troops adapt to the demands of the ground and the weapons available to them. These Union dismounted subjects portray a mixture of leadership, weapons handling and infantry action.

The CS00909 - Union Flagbearer figure captures a particular moment from this wider setting. The flagbearer places the unit's colours at the centre of the scene. It provides a natural point around which officers, musicians and action figures can be arranged to suggest a coherent military formation.

Its pose works alongside the contrasting standing and kneeling figures, giving the group a more natural composition.

Combined with the other 54mm Union dismounted figures, it helps create a varied infantry arrangement with a strong sense of purpose and realism.
