CS01105 - McCords Charging | The Collectors Showcase

A Civil War infantry formation was far more than a line of men firing their weapons. Flags helped identify the troops, officers directed movement and drums provided an important visual reminder of military organisation. The McCords series brings these distinct roles together alongside soldiers in action.

The McCords Charging figure brings the series from a defensive firing arrangement into forward action. It captures the moment an infantryman presses toward the enemy, giving movement and direction to the formation. When placed with the officer, flagbearer and firing soldiers, the charging miniature helps portray a Confederate unit acting through several stages of an engagement.

This 54mm figure is designed to sit naturally with the other McCords releases, giving collectors the chance to combine command, ceremonial and combat roles into a unified Confederate infantry scene.
