CS01175 - 72nd Pennsylvania Wounded | The Collectors Showcase

The 72nd Pennsylvania series depicts a broad cross-section of Union infantry life during the American Civil War. Officers and colour bearers appear alongside firing, advancing, reloading and supporting figures, allowing collectors to create a coherent regimental scene.

The CS01175 - 72nd Pennsylvania Wounded figure captures a particular moment from this wider setting. The wounded subject provides a quieter but powerful contrast to advancing and firing figures. Placed behind or among an infantry line, it gives a collection a sense of consequence as well as action.

Together with the officers, musicians and front-line figures, it helps give the 72nd Pennsylvania a complete regimental presence.

This 54mm figure pairs naturally with the other 72nd Pennsylvania subjects, adding another layer of detail to a cohesive Union regimental scene.
