GG03-05 – 3rd East Kent Regiment
The 3rd (East Kent) Regiment of Foot, famously known as “The Buffs,” was one of the British Army’s oldest and most distinguished infantry regiments. During the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879, the regiment formed part of Lord Chelmsford’s forces as the British attempted to overcome a determined and highly effective Zulu army.
GG03-05 – 3rd East Kent Regiment from John Jenkins Designs captures the appearance of a British infantryman campaigning in Southern Africa, where soldiers faced not only a formidable opponent but also heat, difficult terrain and long periods on the march.
This figure is an excellent choice for building a British formation from the Anglo-Zulu War and works particularly well alongside other troops associated with the campaign.
The Military Workshop is pleased to offer GG03-05, a finely detailed addition for collectors of the Anglo-Zulu War and Victorian military history.
