JR-31A – Highlander
The Jacobite Rising of 1745 brought the Highland clans onto the battlefield in one final attempt to restore the Stuart monarchy to the British throne. Following Prince Charles Edward Stuart's early successes, the Jacobite army advanced deep into England before eventually retreating north towards the confrontation that would decide the rebellion.
JR-31A – Highlander from John Jenkins Designs represents one of the fighting men who formed the distinctive Highland element of the Jacobite army.
Highland regiments were traditionally organised around clan loyalties, with men often serving under officers and leaders drawn from their own communities. Their battlefield reputation was built around determination, speed and aggressive shock tactics, most famously associated with the Highland charge.
Available from The Military Workshop, JR-31A is a character-filled addition to a Jacobite collection and an excellent figure for recreating the dramatic final campaign of the '45.
