Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2026 is treating you well so far. This is Anthony from The Military Workshop with the latest news and releases.
Shop News
Just letting everyone know we are back to our usual operating hours starting next week and we'll be opening for 3 hours this coming Saturday the 17th of January between 9am-12pm for any customers interested in popping in and picking up orders.
We are also trying to gather enough orders for any W.Britains and Collectors Showcase items so please reach out to us at themilitaryworkshop4051@gmail.com if you are interested in anything from those suppliers. I'll post some links below for your perusal.
LtCol Tom Williams, USMC (Ret) visited our store right before the Christmas break and was a pleasure to talk to. He shared stories from his time in Vietnam as an arial observer and his adventures in Kabul, Riyadh, Naples, and Okinawa (just to name a few). I personally found a lot of his back story very interesting and would recommend giving his website a look. He was kind enough to donate a few copies of his books to the shop so those will be available to purchase when we reopen.
King and Country

Latest King and Country releases here
I know there are a lot of you out there that are big western fans and King and Country has released some very cool 'Gunfight at The OK Corral' sets. TRW211 and TRW212 are the perfect combination and can really be used for any western gunfight scene you may have planned.
K&C has also released plenty of new figures for the Remember the Alamo set as well as a rerelease of the The Alamo Facade.
John Jenkins

Latest John Jenkins releases here
Last month was the King Tiger (GA-54 which we still have a few left, in case you missed out). This month, John Jenkins is releasing two Panzer 1's featuring the high attention to detail that we've come to expect from John Jenkins.
GA-15 - Panzer I Ausf. A #833 represents a tank of 8. Kompanie that would have fought on the front lines with its sister Panzer II, III, and IV tanks.
GA-15B - Panzer I Ausf. B #“R” represents a tank from the reconnaissance platoon of the Regimental Stab (headquarters).
John Jenkins has also released some new US Civil War, Anglo-Zulu, and Gold Rush figures which I know are popular.
It's also worth sharing that they've recently restocked a number of GGZ items due to popular demand.
Thomas Gunn

Latest Thomas Gunn releases here
I haven't seen anything new from Thomas Gunn for this month but we did manage to get our hands on another ACCPACK118 which is a great artillery piece. If you are interested, let me know as we also have a fair few of the crew that I'd be happy to do a deal for.
W. Britain

Latest W.Britain releases here
We got the above M3A1 Half-track right before Christmas last year and I was so impressed about this one that I put it in one of our front window displays. It's got an incredible amount of detail and accessories so I thought it might be worth showing off.
Have a look at their website to see their products and let me know if we can order anything in. They've got a great range of US Civil War, Western, Anglo-Zulu War, and plenty of other options. Also a great source of any high quality diorama accessories that you may need like trees or walls.
Collector's Showcase

Speaking of suppliers that have a great western range, Collector's Showcase is one of our suppliers that we've always had a little bit of stock but I've never checked out their website until just now. They've got a great looking range of cowboys and lawmen as well as a cool looking Saloon building.
Have a look at their website and please do get in contact if you would like us to order anything in.
That's all for this month. Thank you as always and hopefully see you soon at the shop again.
