The Military Workshop Newsletter - April 2026

The Military Workshop Newsletter - April 2026

Hello everyone. This is Anthony from The Military Workshop. Here is our latest edition of our monthly newsletter.

Shop News

Apologies for the delay again for this months newsletter. We were waiting on the latest John Jenkins release before sending this out.  We've also been super busy with the ANZAC day rush.

I have exciting news! The Military Workshop has new owners! Stephen and Louise Bartlett are the proud new owners of the shop. They've written a small introduction that I've included below.

"Hello all, as Anthony has mentioned, we are excited and thrilled to have acquired The Military Workshop.

Anthony and Gerelou have been working hard to provide us with the necessary training so we can provide the same great service.

Introducing our selves as Louise and Steve Bartlett we are keen to connect with any existing or new clients via phone call or email.

Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or inquiries.

Have a great day!!

Regards Louise & Steve Bartlett"

They'll be in the store over the next two months so feel free to drop in and have a chat.

King and Country

Latest King and Country releases here

It looks like the main themes for the King and Country release this month is Japanese Air Force and The Battle of the Alamo. Some beautiful Zeroes available as well as accompanying pilots.

LoJ061 is also a great set to pick up early for your Christmas or nativity dioramas.

John Jenkins

I know we have a lot of fans of the various Native American sets John Jenkins has released over the years. They go great with The Real West range from King and Country and SSB-50 (pictured above) is a colourful and dynamic figure that would look great in a lot of scenes.

This month also features the usual collection of sets across the Zulu, The Gold Rush, US Civil War and War of Independence ranges. Also this very cool Gladiator - GLAD-09 - standing victorious over a not so lucky gladiator.

Thomas Gunn

Latest Thomas Gunn releases here

Thomas Gunn has recently mentioned they'll be doing another run of the ROM185-187 later on the year so don't worry if you missed out this time. In the meantime, ROM127B (pictured above) should tide over any of your classic Roman needs.

This month also sees some unfortunate English casualties, a French Foreign Legion Bugler, and a WWII German heavy infantry gun.

That's all for this month. Thank you and catch you next month.
