The Military Workshop Newsletter - December 2025

The Military Workshop Newsletter - December 2025

Hi everyone. This is Anthony Williams with our latest edition of our newsletter.

I'd like to start off by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I hope it's spent surrounded by loved ones and good food.

Shop News

Apologies for the slight delay in this edition, we've been busy at the shop as we prepare for our holiday break.

As a reminder, 20th of December will be our last day open this year until the 20th of January next year. For any customers that have items on hold or ready to pick up in store, please try and get to us before the 20th. Otherwise, shoot me an email and I'm sure we'll be able to arrange a solution. I'll still be monitoring the emails over the holidays, I just may be a bit slower than usual as I spend time with family over the holiday.

We are still expecting a few deliveries during the closure period. For any mail or online orders, we will still be sending out packages so we will be in contact. For our usual in-store customers, I'll email you when your ordered items arrive and we can either arrange a time to meet at the store to pick up your items, post your ordered items, or wait until 2026.  I will still be monitoring the email from time to time over the break.

As for the website update, I'm currently playing around with how to display each suppliers latest releases on the front page but this is a work in progress. For now, you can see each months latest release for each supplier by going to Products and use the filters on the right to select the specific supplier. Then sort by "Date, New to Old" and that should show you the latest items I've added.

A big thank you to our eagle eyed customers that have been helping me find errors and give suggestions. Please keep them coming if you notice anything looking weird or have any ideas to improve the website.

King and Country

Latest King and Country releases here

This month's K&C releases include some very welcome new figures for the Battle of the Bulge series. Pictured above is General Patton and his dog "Willie" and there are plenty of US soldiers in various poses of relaxation and rest.

The 95th Riflemen regiment has also received some reinforcements (although still missing the famous Sergeant Harper) as well as some marching Redcoats and Standard Bearers to complete your American Revolution display.

For those of you collecting the "Streets of Hong Kong", K&C have released a beautiful set piece diorama of a Chinese classroom, available in Glossy or Matte finishes.

John Jenkins

Latest John Jenkins releases here

The big King Tiger sized news from John Jenkins is that GA-54 will be shipping in mid January, alongside the rest of this month's releases. We have 5 set aside for the shop, outside of those set aside for customers who pre-ordered a few months ago, so get in quick for these extremely detailed limited edition items.

This month is a great month for American history fans with plenty of items related to colonial history.

We've also got some items to complete your Anglo-Zulu collection there so make sure to check out the link above for all the latest John Jenkins items.

Thomas Gunn

Latest Thomas Gunn releases here

Thomas Gunn is revisiting some very popular French Foreign Legion pieces. We still have plenty of retired items from this range so be sure to check those out as well.

Thomas Gunn has also released some very detailed British soldiers for your Napoleonic collection.

That's all for this month. Thank you as always and catch you all in the new year!
