CSBS-06A – Battle of Brandy Station – Confederate Standard Bearer – 3 Pieces

On 9 June 1863, thousands of Union and Confederate cavalrymen clashed around Brandy Station, Virginia, in what became the largest predominantly cavalry engagement fought on the North American continent.

The battle occurred only weeks before Gettysburg and pitted Union cavalry against the mounted forces of the Army of Northern Virginia commanded by Major General J.E.B. Stuart.

CSBS-06A depicts a Confederate Standard Bearer from Stuart's Cavalry Division in an impressive three-piece presentation. The flowing standard gives the piece enormous visual presence and makes it a natural centrepiece for a mounted Confederate formation.
