HITT-09B – Hittite Spearman

Behind the thunder of the Hittite war chariots marched the infantry.

During the Battle of Kadesh, King Muwatalli II assembled a vast army to confront Ramesses II, drawing upon the resources of the Hittite Empire as well as allied and subject territories. Although the chariot forces played the starring role in the battle, infantry remained vital for supporting the attack and securing the battlefield.

HITT-09B – Hittite Spearman by John Jenkins Designs brings one of these Bronze Age foot soldiers to life, equipped with the spear that provided both reach and versatility in close combat.

This alternative figure can be combined with HITT-09A and the larger sets to create a varied Hittite infantry contingent rather than a line of identical poses.
