LEX-02 – Longhouse Extension #2 is designed to expand a John Jenkins Designs longhouse display, allowing collectors to create a larger and more substantial structure.

Longhouses were important communal buildings among several Indigenous peoples of northeastern North America, particularly within Haudenosaunee communities. Constructed around a timber framework and covered with bark, they could accommodate extended families and formed part of much larger settlements.

An extension section allows the building to move beyond a small scenic accessory and become a genuine centrepiece. Depending upon the configuration, collectors can create a structure with much greater visual length and presence.

Surround the longhouse with villagers, warriors, stored supplies and woodland terrain and the resulting scene can represent community life rather than simply another battlefield.
