SP134 – The Castle Facade Backdrop (Newly Amended) | King & Country
SP134 “The Castle Facade Backdrop” is a newly amended version of King & Country’s impressive three-part medieval scenic backdrop.
The original version was released in 2025 and proved particularly popular with collectors who wanted the visual impact of a large medieval castle while working with limited shelf or display space.
Its three-part facade provides the appearance of a substantial fortified structure without requiring the depth or room needed for a complete castle.
For this new edition, King & Country has made several subtle alterations to give the structure an even more battle-worn appearance.
Additional battle damage has been added to the ramparts as well as the heavy wooden door, suggesting a fortress that has already experienced the effects of siege or attack.
These changes make SP134 particularly effective as the background to a medieval battle, with knights, archers, men-at-arms and other figures positioned around its walls and entrance.
Collectors who already own the earlier version can also use the newly amended facade to extend their existing castle display, while newcomers can use it as the centrepiece of a completely new medieval scene.
