ACE-50PO – Pilot and Observer for LFG Roland C.IIa

Two-seat reconnaissance aircraft performed some of the most important work of the First World War air services. Their crews flew over enemy territory to observe troop movements, photograph positions and direct artillery, often while exposed to attack from hostile fighters.

ACE-50PO – Pilot and Observer for the LFG Roland C.IIa provides the two-man aircrew required to bring this famous German reconnaissance aircraft to life.

The pilot concentrated on flying while the observer carried out reconnaissance duties and could also defend the aircraft using a flexible machine gun. Together they formed a closely coordinated team operating in extremely dangerous conditions.
