ACE-51PO – Pilot and Observer for LFG Roland C.IIa

The LFG Roland C.II, nicknamed the Walfisch or “Whale,” was one of the most distinctive German two-seat aircraft of the First World War. Its smooth, streamlined fuselage gave it an unusually modern appearance compared with many contemporary aircraft.

ACE-51PO – Pilot and Observer for the LFG Roland C.IIa represents the two men required to operate this important reconnaissance and general-purpose aircraft.

Adding a dedicated pilot and observer creates a much more complete display, whether the Roland is shown preparing for a mission, sitting on an airfield or surrounded by ground crew and equipment.
