ACEBP-04 – Wounded Allied Pilots – 2 Pieces
Flying during the First World War was extraordinarily dangerous. Pilots faced not only enemy fighters and anti-aircraft fire but also mechanical failure, poor weather and aircraft that offered their occupants very little protection.
ACEBP-04 – Wounded Allied Pilots depicts two airmen who have experienced the harsher realities of aerial warfare. Their poses provide a very different atmosphere from pilots preparing confidently for their next mission.
The figures can be incorporated into a damaged-aircraft scene, positioned after an emergency landing or used alongside medical and ground personnel to create a more dramatic airfield vignette.
Available through The Military Workshop – an evocative John Jenkins two-figure set portraying the human cost of the Great War in the air.
