Cavalry was an important element of Gallic warfare, with mounted warriors providing speed and mobility that infantry alone could not achieve. Caesar’s accounts of his campaigns repeatedly demonstrate the importance of cavalry during operations in Gaul.

AERCAV-03A – Gaul Warrior Mounted brings one of these horsemen to the collection. The mounted figure adds considerable height and movement while providing an effective contrast to the mass of warriors fighting on foot.

Used alongside other Gallic cavalry, he can form part of a mounted contingent scouting, manoeuvring around an enemy flank or preparing to charge.
