AF025 – Flying Tiger Pilot Kenneth A. Jernstedt

Kenneth A. Jernstedt was one of the American volunteer pilots who flew with the legendary American Volunteer Group – the “Flying Tigers” – in China and Burma during the early stages of the Second World War.

Flying the distinctive shark-mouthed P-40, the Flying Tigers became famous for their battles against Japanese aircraft and remain one of the most recognisable American aviation units of WWII.

AF025 – Flying Tiger Pilot Kenneth A. Jernstedt represents one of the real men behind that legend and makes an excellent companion to a Flying Tigers P-40 or China-Burma airfield display.
