AF041 – Pearl Harbor P-40 Tomahawk
On the morning of 7 December 1941, Japanese aircraft descended upon Pearl Harbor and other American military installations across Oahu, bringing the United States dramatically into the Second World War.
Among the American aircraft that attempted to respond were Curtiss P-40 fighters, flown by pilots who managed to get airborne despite the surprise attack and chaos on the ground.
AF041 – Pearl Harbor P-40 Tomahawk recreates one of the most recognisable American fighters of this historic day. Rugged, purposeful and instantly identifiable, the P-40 makes a dramatic centrepiece for a Pearl Harbor or early Pacific War display.
Surround it with pilots, mechanics, vehicles and airfield accessories to create a scene depicting one of the defining moments of WWII.
Available from The Military Workshop – an impressive King & Country aircraft representing a pivotal moment in military aviation history.
