AG-01B – Germanic Cherusci Warrior
The Cherusci were one of the Germanic peoples inhabiting the lands beyond Rome’s Rhine frontier. Their warriors became famous through the struggle against Roman expansion during the early years of the 1st century AD.
AG-01B – Germanic Cherusci Warrior represents one of the tribal fighting men who could have followed leaders such as Arminius in resistance to Roman rule. Germanic warriors relied upon individual courage, mobility and intimate knowledge of their own terrain when confronting the disciplined Roman legions.
This B variation works particularly well alongside AG-01A, allowing collectors to introduce greater variety into a growing Cherusci warband.
