The Roman attempt to extend permanent control into Germania brought its legions into contact with numerous independent tribes, including the powerful Cherusci. Relations could shift between alliance and hostility as Rome attempted to draw local leaders into its expanding political system.

AG-02A – Germanic Cherusci Warrior depicts one of the fighting men from this turbulent frontier region, ready to take his place among a larger tribal force.

Combined with other warriors from the AG series, the figure can form part of an ambush, an open battle or a gathering of tribes preparing to confront the Roman advance.
