AP-05AD – 2 Persian Spearmen

The armies of the Achaemenid Persian Empire were famous for their diversity, drawing warriors from across a vast territory stretching from Asia Minor and Egypt to Central Asia and the borders of India. Spearmen formed an important part of these infantry forces, providing close-combat support alongside the empire’s numerous archers.

AP-05AD – 2 Persian Spearmen brings together two warriors equipped to take their place within a larger Persian battle line. Their spears provide valuable reach, while their presence helps balance the missile troops that formed such a prominent element of Persian armies.
