AP-07A – Persian Archer
Archery was one of the defining features of Achaemenid Persian warfare. Large numbers of bowmen could deliver sustained missile fire against an approaching enemy, weakening and disrupting formations before the opposing forces closed for hand-to-hand combat.
AP-07A – Persian Archer represents one of these important missile troops. As an individual figure, he offers plenty of flexibility when constructing a larger formation and can be positioned among both single and multi-figure archer sets.
The figure works especially well alongside Persian Sparabara, where the combination of shields and archery creates one of the most distinctive infantry formations of the ancient world.
