APCAV-06B – Persian Cavalry

Speed and manoeuvrability gave cavalry an important place within ancient warfare. While infantry formations provided the main body of an army, mounted warriors could exploit opportunities that developed once the battle was underway.

APCAV-06B – Persian Cavalry adds another horseman to the Achaemenid ranks. His mounted pose provides height and movement within a display and makes an excellent contrast to the large formations of Persian archers and infantry fighting on foot.

Several different cavalry releases can be grouped together to suggest a substantial force preparing to attack an enemy flank or pursue troops beginning to retreat.
