APCAV-09A – Persian Cavalry

During the wars between Persia and the Greek world, cavalry represented one area in which the Achaemenid armies possessed considerable strength. Mounted troops could operate around the slower infantry formations and place pressure on vulnerable sections of an opposing army.

APCAV-09A – Persian Cavalry captures one of these mounted warriors and is particularly well suited to displays depicting the great confrontations between Persian forces and their Greek opponents.

The figure can be used individually as a scout or messenger, or grouped with other Persian cavalry to form a much more imposing battlefield contingent.
