APCAV-10A – Persian Cavalry

The Achaemenid military system reflected the enormous geographical scale of the empire itself. Among its many troop types were mounted warriors whose speed made them particularly valuable for scouting, protecting the army’s flanks and exploiting weaknesses in an enemy formation.

APCAV-10A – Persian Cavalry represents another of these horsemen and provides collectors with an additional pose for building a varied cavalry formation.

Displayed alongside Persian infantry and archers, the mounted warrior helps illustrate the combination of different troop types that gave Achaemenid armies their distinctive battlefield character.
