Monumental stairways were an important visual feature of Mesoamerican ceremonial architecture, leading worshippers, priests and important figures towards elevated temples and sacred areas.

AZ-107 – Aztec Temple Complex Stairs provides collectors with an architectural feature that introduces both height and depth to an Aztec display. Figures can be positioned ascending the steps, standing guard or participating in ceremonial scenes around the temple precinct.

Used with the gateway, walls and other Temple Complex components, the stairs help create a much more three-dimensional and imposing setting.
