BAL-10 – Conestoga Wagon
The famous Conestoga wagon became one of the most recognisable forms of heavy freight transport in early America. Developed in Pennsylvania, its distinctive curved body and canvas cover made it particularly suitable for carrying substantial loads over long distances.
Before the widespread development of railways, wagons of this type played an important role in moving commercial goods and supplies through the expanding American interior.
BAL-10 – Conestoga Wagon makes a substantial centrepiece for a frontier road, trading post or transport scene and works particularly well alongside horses, teamsters, settlers and other civilian figures.
The Military Workshop is pleased to offer BAL-10 – an impressive John Jenkins vehicle that adds scale, historical character and the essential story of transportation to an early American or frontier collection.
