British artillery played an important role during the War of 1812, supporting infantry formations and engaging enemy troops with carefully positioned field guns.

BCHART-02 – British Foot Artillery, Aiming contains two artillerymen preparing and aiming their weapon. Their poses capture the concentrated activity of a gun crew immediately before a cannon was fired.

Combined with additional crew figures, ammunition equipment and a suitable artillery piece, the pair can form part of a complete British gun position during the fighting along the Canadian-American frontier.
