Dejean's Regiment of Foot (later the 37th Regiment of Foot) was a key infantry unit in the Duke of Cumberland’s army during the Jacobite Rising, most notably fighting at the Battle of Culloden on April 16, 1746. Positioned next to Barrell's 4th Foot, Dejean's held its ground against the Highland charge and sustained heavy casualties.
