BREED-101 - Breed's Hill Redoubt, Straight CL | John Jenkins Designs

This modular straight wall section represents part of the earthwork fortifications defended by American colonial forces during the Battle of Bunker Hill on 17 June 1775.

Identified as Straight CL, BREED-101 forms one of the required structural sections of the complete standard Breed's Hill Redoubt assembly.

The defensive position was constructed on Breed's Hill, near Charlestown, as American forces sought to challenge British control of Boston.

The resulting battle saw British regular troops launch repeated assaults against the fortified colonial position.

Despite their experience and military organisation, the British suffered significant casualties during the first two attacks, which were repulsed by the defenders.

The redoubt was eventually captured during the third assault after the American soldiers ran short of ammunition and withdrew.

The battle became one of the most important early engagements of the American War of Independence.

BREED-101 is designed to be combined with BREED-100, BREED-102, BREED-103, BREED-104 and BREED-105 to create the complete standard redoubt.

Please note: This set contains an individual straight fortification section only. The other sections required for the complete assembly are sold separately.
