BREED-106 - Breed's Hill Redoubt, Corner BL | John Jenkins Designs

This modular corner section represents part of the defensive fortifications constructed by American colonial forces on Breed's Hill during the Battle of Bunker Hill in June 1775.

Identified as Corner BL, BREED-106 is one of the individual components within the Breed's Hill Redoubt collection.

The American troops fortified Breed's Hill as British forces sought to maintain control of Boston and the surrounding approaches.

On 17 June 1775, British soldiers advanced against the American defensive position. The colonial defenders repulsed the first two assaults, inflicting considerable casualties on the attacking troops.

The British eventually captured the redoubt during their third assault after the Americans had largely exhausted their ammunition.

Although the engagement resulted in a British tactical victory, the losses suffered by the attacking forces made it one of the most significant early battles of the American War of Independence.

BREED-106 provides an additional corner element for collectors building an expanded or alternative arrangement of the Breed's Hill fortification.

Please note: This product is a separate modular section and must be combined with other BREED-series components to form a larger redoubt display.
